We’ll be back on stage in fall 2010…watch out!
I know we wrote that a lot by now, but last show was really huge…I mean, it was our first CD release in world history, and it was just so great. Even before it started it was a day to remember, with both of Frankfurt’s sport teams winning over some of the leagues’ best; but anyway, one great thing of the day was to team up with Projekt RSK and Gaspain. Those guys are just such nice fellow-beings, I can’t remember such a relaxed and easy get together of band egos. I hope we’ll play some more shows over time as that was an amazing bunch we had assembled last Saturday to celebrate the “Airtime”-CD.
The show itself was semi-crowded but enthusiastic, so what more can we hope for?! It’s just so humbling to stand on stage and see and hear people singing your (!) lyrics…those songs wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for us…neither would the texts…and there are people who know the songs and sing and dance along! Can anybody understand what a big deal that is?! If not, try to get that feeling. Really!
Oh, and we finally played one new song, the first one for over a year. “What’s wrong” went pretty okay, and the crowd loved it, with its straight-in-your-face-appeal and the singalonglyrics it’s going to be an integral part of our new playlist. And there are even two more waiting to be aired over the next two shows…so be prepared to hear a lot of new Blash-stuff.

Hey everybody out here, a little time has passed since we’ve last met, and things are beginning to unravel….ooohoooo, mysterious….OK, cut the crap! To break the news to you: WE’RE BACK! And this time in full stereo and full-3D. We have announced it for many months now, and by today it is done, our debut EP “Airtime” is ready for take-off; all songs are mixed, the artwork is well on its way, and we’re about to hit the stage again. So here’s the whole non-back-to-back-double-header-package:

March 20: CD Release of “Airtime” the Elfer in Frankfurt, together with our new and old friends of Gaspain and Projekt RSK.
April 17: First festival show this year at the 2010 SpringJam in Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen

Apart from that….man, this year starts off fine. Two shows booked already, the CD on the final yards, the band healthy and complete, and the weather will also be better and warmer soon 
The olympics are going alright, the alps are still covered with snow, and summer vacation is going to be a blast. The bunker is still standing, the amps are still pumping, and Shortfuse’s throat is shrinking back to normal. AND….we got some new songs coming at you this time round!! So, you see, we’re just a happy little band, and if you join us live, well, no guarantee, but it’s pretty safe to say you’ll have a night you won’t regret…

Yeah baby, this last show for this year blew any standards, and blew our minds. Thanks to every single one in the completely crowded Dreikoenigskeller that fine Saturday. Just can’t figure where to start…
Actually we didn’t expect much from the show as Delliq was gone for over a week with serious business, so we had no rehearsals at all, no preparation, and were preparing for the worst to happen: playing a threesome that night, drumless. So we packed our stuff and drove to the club where our friends of Tattoo You were already waiting for the owner. We set the stage, re-arranged it again because it was mindboggling loud in there, and started to wait for things to happen. And then it happend big time…

Fall is coming fast, and the days are getting shorter, so it’s time for a last show this year. On November 21st we’ll be playing the Dreikönigskeller @ Frankfurt, and this time it will be just a show…no single to be released, no alps to be crossed, no special occasion. A night of no strings attached, of no frills, of simple and pure rock’n'punking roll. Ain’t that a treat?! Thought so…

Awesome No other word needed here but that one. We have released our very first single, “Six Weeks”, and it burned the roof; thanks to everyone who attended the show, and especially to Mathias of the Clubkeller for giving us a shot at his nice club.
Before we went underground to set the stage we stopped at Radio X to promote our single a little we headed into the studio, had a really nice chat at the X-Wie-Raus show, and they aired our single! Can you believe that?! Airtime baby!! So, job well done, and off we go to the Clubkeller.
I don’t remember if we ever had such a relaxed setting the stage time; Mathias knew what he was doing, so without rushing or hurrying we set it all, mic-ed it, turned it on, and within only two songs the mix was right for all people involved, both on- and off-stage. Amazing! And kudos again to you! Doors opened at 21h, and by 22h about 30 people were there, so we started rocking. The first set we played was the upcoming “Airtime”-EP plus 2 extra songs, leaving our “Greatest Hits” for the second round. In between the sets we were signing CDs by the truckload, and I just can’t stop smiling even though it’s some days in the past now. The crowd was really into the whole thing, clapped, sang along, cheered, nodded heads, and willingly participated in our notorious audience-participation-parts. Thanks to you guys, it really was fun! And as far as we’ve heard, everyone liked it a lot and was eager to know when and where we’ll be playing the next show…which will be by the end of that year for the release of the EP. Watch out for more info on that…

This is it. Tonight we will present to you our first professional recording. At the Clubkeller in Frankfurt, Sachsenhausen, we will perform for you not only our new single, but also our upcoming Airtime EP and all our hits. This night only! Come See us.
Man, what was that?! Yes, we’re back from our Italian adventure near the Lago Maggiore. We played the Monday headlining show at a local festival organized by the strangest buch of people out there. We’re still not sure if they are just some strange hippie dudes, clever businessmen or some sort of a sect. If you feel like educating yourself about those guys, here’s a good site to start from (yes, the comments stunningly are all true to the core of it).
So, summer’s here and we’re are almost packing our gear to head for our first European tour ever. Yes, we are talking about leaving the country, driving all the way up and down the alps and headlining this year’s “Spirit of Woodstock”-Monday (August 3rd); yes, we really headline this night and will be rocking the Italian landscape starting at 23.00h.
