What a sad day. Michael Jackson passed away last night, and what can we say…thank you for the time you spent on this planet, thank you for the music, and may you find peace wherever you are now. The world has become poorer without you.

Aloha united people of Blash!
We proudly announce that we have fixed the date for our very first release show & party. On August 27 we will present our debut-E.P. “Airtime” at the Clubkeller, Frankfurt. It will start at 8 p.m., and we will be playing not only the four songs that make up the E.P….no, we will have a full one hour plus set featuring each and every song, most wanted and almost forgotten pearls from the vault.
Pfew! Finally! The weekend is over and we’re pretty done with. 3 birthdays and 2 shows in only 5 days was quite a bit…and definitely worth it. The acoustic session at the Weingeist was really realaxed and a good start into those packed days. I guess people enjoyed it as much as we did, only the Britney cover song was estranging to one girl. Anyway.
Wow! I mean: WOW!!! We were just confirmed to play at the Spirit of Woodstock festival in Maripuri, Italy. Can you believe that?? Seems that we really are big in Italy, even though our home area tends to ignore us from time to time. But better being big dogs somewhere than being smalltimeguys at home
Anyway, this means Blash is heading of for our first show outside Germany, so let’s call that THE BLASH EUROPEAN TOUR 2009 *yeah* The festival is a one-week event in Northern Italy, right next to Lago di Como; we’ll be playing two shows on August 3rd and also be hanging out there some day in advance to get the hippie feeling right. Yes, we’re so part of that rock-n-roll-thing going on since Jimmy took the stage in 1969 and people were crawling in mud happily ever after.
So stoked, I can tell you!!
See you round! And don’t forget the other shows:
April 29: Weingeist, acoustic session
May 2: Filli Forever, re-plugged together with Cubiq
Peace my brothers and sisters!
Yeah! We did it!! We have just finished recording our very first E.P.
By now the raw material is being processed to be mixed and engineered by the famous Big Ruben of Elysia…not a bad start for our littel band!
We spent 4 days and nights at the Eagleway4 Studios at Kamp-Lintfort recording 4 tracks (Preacher Girl, Six Weeks, Watch Me and Nu Sound), and what can I say, it sounds so fantastic, better than anything else we have recorded so far, and all of this without any mixing or postproduction so far. Every single tracks vibrates with an intensity we never thought we could put on a tape; thanks to Ruben for his idea to record the basic tracks as a band, meaning we miced everything and rocked the studio right away as if it was a stage (minus the vocals). That way we captured the live energy which is an important part of the blashy way….
Writing about music is always a bit akward, so just check out the picture section (head right to the “pictures” section) for some impressions of the recording process, and get ready for some “Airtime” this summer!! We’ll keep you informed about the proceedings and the publishing date!
All this would not have been possible without the generous help of some great beings, above all Ruben Tilgner and Mama Delliq. Kudos to you, and to everyone else who stopped by, invited us for babecue or just was around at Eagleway4.
Hy y’all!
We just wanted to inform all of you nice people out here that our acoustic session at the Weingeist will be on APRIL 29, not as announced before on the first…anyway, it will be a Shortfuse & C-Liq acoustic set of about 45 minutes featuring the famous “L-Trilogy” along with some other tunes of our nice little band but also some cover songs we like to play every now and then.
All right, so see you at the Weingeist on April 29! Check by regularly for more up to date stuff!! And roq the hell out!
Yeah! Time to start up again and bring that idea of our first E.P. called “Airtime” to an end. Blash proudly announces that we definetly will be recording a 4 track E.P. in April this very year. The place where the magic happens is the Eagleway4 Studios at Kamp-Lintfort, and the whole thing will be produced by our dear friend Rockmaster P. and of course mixed by the one and only Big Ruben. Great things are coming up, take it as a promise! The songs that will be recorded are Preacher Girl, Watch Me, Six Weeks and Nu Sound, just to keep you updated with what’s comming at you in late spring oh nine…ah, so exited!!
Yeah, we’re back, brotha! And this time we come at you in full high definition

Still here? Or already back? If you liked it please leave a comment and a good rating there to help us promote our little homebrew vid. Thanx to Birgit for filming all of that, and to the Delliqs and Mista Licka for mixing and cutting the raw material. Roq out!
Hey everyone out here! BLASH wishes all of you a happy new year, come what ever may, this year is gonna be a good one, we can feel it, the force is strong in this one. Talking about force…right now we are forced to stay in our bunker to work on some new songs before we head back for the stages in spring. And, if things turn out the way they are planned, this year will also see the launch not only of the famous www.blashed.net homepage but also of the long awaited EP “Airtime”…cross your fingers and hope for the best
Bets are also accepted, just mail us your bet and stakes and we’ll probably have a deal…
Roq on, and remember to swear at any occasion! Hell fuq yeah!!
Alright, let’s do this one here. Even though I should spend the day packing books into boxes I decided to write after all. This year is closing soon, and I just do not feel fine, so I do what I do best, which is writing stuff. The only good point right now is that new Blash songs are on their way as my mood darkens each day and I feel the loss rapping each and every tiny cell of my body. And just because I know you (you know who you are) will read this, I decided to open up the gates and let our humble audience see some work in progress. It’s been a long time since the last time I wrote a new song, and it seems like the darker the days the better the creative process…So let’s go!
